The Harmonization and Improvement of Statistics in West and Central Africa (HISWACA) project aims to improve country statistical performance, regional harmonization, data access and use, and to enhance modernization of the statistical system in participating countries.
Financed by the World Bank and implemented at both national and regional levels, it aims to specifically build robust national and regional statistical systems, enhancing data quality, comparability, and use for better policy-making and development in West and Central African countries, focusing on capacity building, data infrastructure, and regional coordination.
