Lady of Niger, Dr Lalla Malika Issoufou, partners and the United Nations Population Fund in West and Central Africa Regional Office (UNFPA WCARO) to step up support and mobilize resources to eliminate obstetric fistula in West and Central Africa, before 2030. The First Ladies committed to mobilizing more resources and gear up to support the fight during a high-profile roundtable conference organized under the theme, "Strengthened and extended partnership: An essential lever for the elimination of obstetric fistula." The heavily attended hybrid event held on Tuesday, 23 March 2021, under the First Lady of Niger's patronage, Dr Lalla Malika Issoufou.
