2015 presented numerous challenges and various initiatives have helped to alleviate the immediate suffering of vulnerable populations and provide solutions to transform and uplift their lives.
In the coming years, UNFPA intends to pursue its mission to support countries in accelerating the demographic transition and benefiting from the demographic dividend. This demographic dividend, which is an opportunity to seize, corresponds to the acceleration of the inclusive growth that could result from the age structure of the population.
