Central African Republic went through a series of crises which brought about an outbreak of inter-community with its corollary of massive displacement of people and human rights violations, especially sexual and gender-based violence. Within the framework of the 100-days strategic response plan of the United Nations system, UNFPA country office in CAR has developed and implemented a humanitarian response programme to protect women and young girls from GBV.
